However, we guarantee that we will provide you with high-quality leads. Our goal is to save you time and increase your probability of success by connecting you with opportunities that match your specific profile.

How It Works

Q: How does the "Smart Matching" work? A: When you create your account, we ask for detailed attributes (hobbies, interests, demographics, major, etc.). Our algorithm compares your profile against our database to find scholarships that require those specific traits. The more details you provide in your profile, the better your matches will be.

Q: Can I apply for scholarships directly in the app? A: No. We are a finder and organization tool. We provide you with the direct link to the official application page for each scholarship. You will need to submit your application through the scholarship provider’s website.

Q: How do I export my scholarship list? A: Go to your "Saved" or "Matches" tab. Tap the Export button in the top corner. You can choose to download your list as a PDF (good for printing/reading) or a CSV (good for Excel/Google Sheets).

Q: Why do I need to export my list? A: Treating your scholarship search like a business is key to winning. Exporting allows you to create a tracker, manage deadlines, and check off applications as you complete them without needing to be in the app constantly.

Account & Subscription

Q: Is the app free? A: The app is free to download, and we offer a Free Trial so you can explore the features and see the quality of our matches. To access the full database, unlimited exports, and ongoing updates, a subscription is required.

Q: How do I cancel my subscription? A: Subscriptions are managed directly by Apple. To cancel, go to your iPhone's Settings > Tap your Name (Apple ID) > Subscriptions > HiddenGems > Cancel Subscription. Note: Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

Q: Can I use one account for multiple children? A: The Smart Matching algorithm works best when it is focused on a single profile. If you have multiple students, we recommend creating separate accounts to ensure each student gets matches tailored specifically to their unique attributes.

Q: I’m not seeing many matches. What should I do? A: Try expanding your profile! Go to the "Profile" tab and add more attributes. Think about your hobbies, community service, parent's employment, or unique traits. The more "niche" you get, the more "hidden gems" we can find.
