Account & Data Delete Policy & Request

How to Request Account and Data Deletion:


At HiddenGem Scholarship Finder, we are committed to your privacy. If you wish to delete your account and all associated personal data, you have two primary methods:

  1. In-App Deletion (Recommended): Log in to your account, navigate to the Privacy & Data section (found in the navigation menu), and click the "Delete My Account and Data" button. You will be asked to confirm this action.

  2. Email Request: If you cannot access your account, please send an email to info@investnothers.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". You must send this from the email address associated with your HiddenGem account.

 

What Happens When You Delete Your Account:

  • Profile Data: All your specific scholarship attributes (GPA, Major, etc.) are permanently removed from our databases.

  • Saved Scholarships: Your personal tracking list and status history are erased.

  • Authentication: Your login credentials (email/password) are removed from our authentication service.

  • Timeframe: Automated in-app deletions are processed immediately. Manual email requests are processed within 7–10 business days.
